Running round Tottenham is the only one I won't join in with.

Chitty bobbles annoys me, partly because I cant master it but it sounds a bit shit too.

Think that was Sheff Weds' song for him and we sung it for literally one game as you say, before someone came up with OUR Paolo di Canio song.

Pisses me off other teams using the la donna i mobile tune all the time now

Dr Matt, that has to be a piss take on our part surely?

They (Hull) are the Tigers so.......a mauling can happen....I don't think Hammers can maul can they hence it's a piss take?

Anyone else remember the D I Canio song sung to the tune of D.I.S.C.O
First sung at Di Canio's debut at Selhurst Park. against Wimbledon in 1999.
Not sure I ever heard it again though.

Hadn't had to worry about this for nearly my entire lifetime but I would like to now add, "Champ-E-on-A, Champ-E-on-A" to this thread

Queen's "We are the champions" if you must.

Seem to recall Tony Gale scoring a good one, against the bin dippers. League Cup late 80's?

Lily... yup cant think of any better free kicks for us than Payet's that day... Dicks scored a couple of decent ones, Lampard Snr, Wardie had a brilliant one disallowed... but that is right up there... another game I missed... Old Trafford without doubt was just one of those grounds where I was the absolute Jonah of all jonah's... 7 or 8 times.. best was prob my first one up there a 2-4 loss in the cup... next 7 times... I never even saw a goal... stayed away the di Canio game because I knew I'd jinx it... next season when we got them in the cup with Roeder we went 0-6... total opposite to Highbury in which the vast majority of times went there we turned them over

The Payet song first got sung away to Palace that season.

I know it didn't end well with him, but that song made the hairs on my arms stand up when we sang it at Old trafford, just before he completely done De Gea (at the top of his game, back then), from so far out. When I watch that clip now, it still gets me.

The heartbreaking little cunt!

Sweet Caroline... not really us but the whole fucking world it seems... remember 20-25 years or so ago... in the Earl it was OUR song... that and 2 Little Boys (ok that was played at lot at other WHU boozers as well) but SC would get the whole of the Earl belting it out pre and post match... then 5-10 years later I started hearing it more and more elsewhere... boxing etc... and now... FUCKING EVERYWHERE... hate it

The Mercernary 3:46 Tue Apr 25
Re: Songs that our fans sing that you hate.
"We've got Payet" sang at half time at the Boleyn game v Palace in the '15-'16 season (BML catering area) was one of the best sing songs I've ever seen at the old ground.

Absolutely raised the roof!

Re: Songs that our fans sing that you hate.
Didn't like the Payet song. Only reason being that the first time I heard it was after a match, at the pub next to East Ham Station, where half a dozen pissed up fans sang it. Loudly. Non-stop. For well over an hour. Had to leave after a couple of pints, it was that annoying. Hadn't heard it at all at the match or any previous ones so I guess it wasn't widely sung at that point but obviously soon caught on.
